Smirnoff is a staple brand in every bar and club all around the world. So when Covid hit in 2020, our social lives disappeared and with it the majority of Smirnoff’s sales. We had to find a way to keep Smirnoff’s name on every guest list, at home.

People first insight

We knew that the world was missing socialising with friends and family. Zoom calls and banana bread could only go so far, people were looking for ways to elevate their evening tipple and recapture the fun as a form of escapism.

Unusual Everyday™ Idea 

We transformed the ordinary at home setting into something extraordinary with our energetic twist on standard ‘how -to’ films. Our House of Cocktails content showcased the joyful and playful nature of cocktail making with Smirnoff at home. Through surprising choreographed movement and mischievous characterisation, these films delivered the distinctive Smirnoff edge and spirit, as well as inspiring people to shake up the mundane.
