Getting to Know You – Shnoosee Bailey
Shnoosee Bailey is our Creative Director here at HeyHuman. We caught up with her to find out more about our creative leader.
How did you get into advertising?
I studied Advertising and Design down under in Australia and was given my first opportunity at Leo Burnett Adelaide.
Can you tell us the most recent campaign you’ve worked on?
A football campaign for Guinness Africa – very exciting, but I can’t say any more at the moment.
What’s the best piece of creative work out there at the moment?
Honda ‘Keep Up’ – totally arresting and immersive, violently pulling you in to feel and experience the joy of improvement for yourself.
The next big thing in advertising – what do you think?
A great idea. That will never change. Ideas that are contextual and relevant, fitting harmoniously with people’s lives.
Which piece of advertising work do you wish you had thought of?
I have choice paralysis! There is so much greatness to choose from, but if I have to choose one it would be Volvo Trucks’ ‘Epic Split’.
What digital tool can you not live without?
Google and National Rail’s app (I have a long commute).
In a film about your life, who would play you?
Can you tell us one word or phrase that you overuse?
“Don’t worry, everyone pronounces it wrong.”
Who would you most like to collaborate with?
Wes Anderson – for the storytelling, the palette, obsessive detail and pure genius.
What’s a piece of criticism you’ve received?
“Stop being so nice!”
What was the last piece of music you listened to?
Stevie Wonder’s ‘Signed, Sealed, Delivered I’m Yours’.
